QWEEN
Jewellery is commonly sold with little history attached. You are told it is ethically sourced and asked to take that on trust. This is what the alternative looks like, stage by stage.
Mine to Marvel is QWEEN's term for an accountable chain: every stage from rough stone to the finished piece in the box is documented rather than assumed. It is possible because QWEEN is not only a retailer. Rosy Blue, one of the world's largest diamond companies with six decades of sourcing experience and operations in more than ten countries, is QWEEN's supply chain partner,[1] and Kashikey brings close to a century of craftsmanship in gold.[2] The stone and the metal come from the partners who stand behind the brand that sells you the ring.

A diamond's journey starts billions of years before anyone sells it, in conditions of heat and pressure deep beneath the earth. The commercial journey starts at the mine, and this is the stage at which visibility is most often lost. In a conventional supply chain a stone passes through traders, cutters and wholesalers, and the specifics of its origin are typically abstracted into a general assurance by the time it reaches a counter.
Rosy Blue was founded in 1960 and operates across more than ten countries in diamond manufacturing, trading and retail.[1] Working with a single supply chain partner rather than an open market means the chain is short enough to document.

Cutting is where a diamond's brilliance is made or lost. Rough stones are studied, mapped and planned before a single facet is cut, because the decision is irreversible — a cutter is choosing between weight and light, and choosing weight is how a stone ends up large and lifeless.
This stage is also where an integrated group differs from a business buying in finished stones. Cutting standards are set rather than accepted.

Gold arrives from the refinery and is alloyed to specification. This is the point at which a piece becomes one of the seven colours — the recipe is decided here, not later. The alloy determines colour, hardness and how the piece will wear over decades. More on that in the seven colours of gold.

A QWEEN piece begins as a sketch, becomes a CAD model, and is then produced as a wax before any metal is cast. Each step is a chance to catch a problem while it is still cheap to fix: proportion at sketch, structure at CAD, comfort and weight at wax.

Casting, filing, setting and polishing are still done by hand, and this is where the difference between a good piece and an ordinary one is decided. Setting in particular is unforgiving — a stone that sits a fraction proud catches on fabric, and one set a fraction deep loses its light.

Every piece is checked before it can be sold: stone security, symmetry, finish, weight against specification, and comfort in wear. A QC stage only means something if pieces actually fail it, which is the question worth asking any jeweller who mentions one.

Diamonds are certified by an independent laboratory, and gold is hallmarked to BIS standards with its HUID. These are the two documents that let a buyer verify a piece independently of anything the seller says about it. At QWEEN they are supplied with the piece, not produced on request.
QWEEN delivers free, insured and tracked anywhere in India.[3] What follows matters more: a one-year QWEEN warranty against manufacturing defects, QWEEN's lifetime exchange and buyback, and five-year stone rate protection.[3]

A chain of custody that ends at the invoice is not a chain of custody. It is a sales process.
Because jewellery is one of the few purchases where you cannot verify what you are buying by looking at it. You cannot see purity, origin, or whether a colour is natural. An assurance offered at the counter is a substitute for evidence you cannot gather yourself.
Mine to Marvel exists to replace that assurance with documentation. The test is not whether a brand uses the word transparency. It is whether, when you ask a specific question about a specific piece, there is a specific answer.
QWEEN's position is that a claim about origin is only worth the proof behind it, so every QWEEN piece comes with documents rather than a promise. QWEEN sells natural diamonds and gemstones only, and it works with one supply chain partner, Rosy Blue, so the chain from rough stone to finished piece stays short enough to document.
What QWEEN does differently is put the checks where you can see them. QWEEN diamonds and gemstones are IGI-certified, QWEEN's signature solitaires carry GIA certificates, and QWEEN gold is BIS hallmarked with its HUID. QWEEN stores keep a gold karat tester, a diamond tester and a Hearts & Arrows scope on the floor, so you can test a piece before you buy it. QWEEN says its Hearts & Arrows round brilliants, sold as QWEEN of Hearts™, meet a standard reached by less than 1 per cent of diamonds worldwide.
After you buy, QWEEN covers manufacturing defects for one year and offers lifetime exchange and buyback, valued at QWEEN's prevailing rates (making charges and taxes are not returned), with the stone rate protected for five years. Repairs, cleaning, resizing and engraving are available at any QWEEN boutique, including for pieces bought online.
To see the chain for yourself, pick a piece in a QWEEN store and ask for its certificate, its hallmark and a look under the scope.

Bring a question about a specific stone. A documented chain means there is a specific answer.
That the chain of custody for a stone is documented at each stage rather than assumed. It means a specific piece can be linked back through setting, cutting and sourcing rather than simply being declared ethically sourced.
An international certification scheme designed to prevent rough diamonds from financing conflict. It governs the trade in rough stones between participating countries and is the baseline the industry works to.
Yes. Every QWEEN diamond is 100 per cent natural and certified, and the documentation is provided with the piece rather than on request.
It shortens the chain between rough stone and finished piece, removing intermediary margins. It also means quality standards are applied consistently rather than negotiated at each handover.
Mine-of-origin detail depends on the stone and the documentation available for it. Ask at the point of purchase, and the answer should be specific rather than general.
Repairs, cleaning, resizing and engraving are available at any QWEEN boutique; repairs outside the one-year warranty are charged after a cost estimate. QWEEN's lifetime exchange and buyback apply to every QWEEN piece.
