A seal was a signature before signatures existed. An octagonal citrine of over two and a half carats holds the centre of this ring, with twelve diamonds prong-set around it. Everything else is kept deliberately subordinate to the stone, so that the citrine itself reads as the mark, the signature at the heart of the ring.
